About The Role

Envirolab Services Pty Ltd is seeking an ICT Support Officer to join our ICT team on a fixed-term basis for two years. This is a varied, onsite role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working across different systems, and supporting people to do their jobs efficiently. The salary range for the role is $68,000 to $78,000 plus superannuation.

You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support across multiple Envirolab locations, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day IT issues while also contributing to system improvements, upgrades and projects. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential, as you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support across multiple Envirolab locations, including hands-on, on-site support for the Sydney office and laboratory
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to desktops, laptops, printers, laboratory PCs, networks, telephony and AV equipment
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and core business systems, including LIMS
  • Log, manage and resolve service requests and incidents using the ITSM system, escalating where required
  • Assist with system upgrades, rollouts and ICT project work, including testing, documentation and user support
  • Support cyber security practices, endpoint protection and IT asset management
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external providers to ensure reliable, responsive ICT services

  • A strong interest in ICT support and problem-solving
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows-based environments
  • Confidence working across multiple systems and managing competing priorities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and documentation
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum three years of experience in an ICT support or service desk environment
