Key Responsibilities
Lead the estimating and tendering function to secure new work.
Manage end-to-end tender processes, including reviews, reporting, and approvals.
Analyse drawings, BOQs, and tender documents to produce competitive submissions.
Prepare cost plans, preliminaries, subcontractor enquiries, and VE options.
Assess and manage financial, technical, and operational risks.
Coordinate with subcontractors, specialists, and internal teams to obtain pricing.
Produce tender analyses and handover information for awarded projects.
Ensure ISO-compliant tendering processes and improve estimating systems.
Support project teams post-award and highlight contract risks.
Identify business opportunities and stay up to date with construction methods and technologies.
Core Skills/ Attributes
Experience across Residential, Civil, Commercial, Retail, Pharma, and Public Works projects.
Strong People Management Skills With Experience Mentoring Junior Staff.
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of building detailing and construction technology.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in relevant estimating, surveying, and accounting software, including MS Office.
Strong work ethic, team-focused mindset, and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications
Quantity Surveying degree qualification preferable
5-10 years post qualification experience
