I'm looking for a Sales Assistant for a leading electrical wholesaler based in Kildare. This is a client facing role and you will be advising clients about products both face to face and over the phone.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deal with sales enquiries either by phone or over the counter and provide advice, information and quotations.
  • Offer alternative products, up-sell where possible, promote own brands and cross brand sales.
  • Stay updated about product knowledge and branch costs and targets.
  • Take orders and prepare them.


Experience/Requirements


  • Counter sales experience within Electrical Wholesale, retail or DIY
  • Experience with operating a forklift an advantage
  • Strong communication skills to deal on a regular basis with colleagues and customers.
  • A full Irish driving licence.
