Role Overview - What’s ‘In-store’?
The Senior Finance Business Partner will act as the primary financial advisor to the Regional General Manager and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The role will focus exclusively on driving value through commercial insight, supporting execution of strategy, and improving business performance.
The focus will rest exclusively on forward-looking, value-adding activities that shape operational and commercial decisions, as well as strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the GM and SLT to challenge and influence decision-making across commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial leadership on Request-For-Proposal reviews, investment cases, customer profitability, and sales forecasting.
- Analyse customer, product, and channel profitability to identify growth opportunities and areas for performance improvement.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support pricing, commercial negotiations, and new market entry decisions.
- Lead the regional forecasting and budgeting process in partnership with the central finance team.
- Translate group financial targets into actionable regional business plans, challenging assumptions where necessary.
- Monitor performance against budget, forecast, and key KPIs; identify variances and partner with leadership to drive corrective actions.
- Deliver clear, concise financial reporting and presentations to the GM, SLT, and Group Finance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Finance Centre team on accounting, tax, and compliance activities.
- Act as the regional point of contact to ensure financial operations are aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate, share and support fellow Finance Business Partner colleagues with delivering a standardized and best practice approach to FBP across Europe.
Which skills, competencies and experience are we looking for?
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Ability to operate at tactical/operational level and strategically.
- Experience in sales forecasting, customer profitability analysis, and commercial contract support.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills, with advanced Excel/Power BI capability.
- Skilled in preparing and delivering impactful presentations to senior audiences.
- Excellent influencing skills; able to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
