Retrieval Registrars and Consultants - Full Time

We are currently recruiting Retrieval Registrars (full-time) and Retrieval Consultants (full-time or part-time) for the February 2027 or August 2027 intakes into our Retrieval Team.

About The Role
As part of our Emergency Retrieval team, you will provide critical care from the moment a patient calls for help through to definitive treatment.
Our Rotational Training Program Includes Exposure To
- RFDSSE bases in Dubbo and Broken Hill
- Local rural hospitals
- Telehealth and remote clinical support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience
- Advanced trainee status with CICM, ACEM, ANZCA, or ACRRM (with JCCA/DRGA) (Equivalent overseas qualifications considered for eligible applicants)
- At least 18 months critical care experience (ED and ICU)
- 6 months anaesthetics experience
- Experience managing critically ill and trauma patients
- ALS, APLS, and ATLS (or equivalent) – desirable
- Recent practice in a critical care environment
- Base salary of $203,000, inclusive of 20% shift worker loading
- Generous salary packaging benefits
- Housing allowance up to $30,000 per year or RFDS-provided accommodation (full-time)
- Five weeks annual leave (pro rata)
