Analyst, Investment Operations - Private Credit | Houston, TX

Job Description:

Growing alternative investment manager seeking an Analyst to support Private Credit Investment Operations across a range of complex credit and structured finance strategies. This role offers exposure to special opportunities lending, structured transactions, and operational support across the lifecycle of private credit investments.

Key Duties and Activities

Investment Operations

• Support daily operational processes including trade settlement, collateral management, asset servicing, and reconciliations

• Own trade capture, reconciliation processes, and exception resolution with a focus on accuracy and root-cause analysis

• Help maintain accurate and reliable datasets used for performance, risk, and client reporting

• Monitor deal pipelines to ensure operational readiness and precise funding execution

• Contribute to daily liquidity management and funding coordination

• Partner with fund accounting and administrators to help validate NAV and P&L components

• Support monthly close processes and reporting deliverables

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Partner with internal teams including Finance, Technology, and Investment teams

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives (including internal tools and systems)

• Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting

Company Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, a technical field, or a related discipline, or demonstrated interest in finance, investing, data analysis, or programming

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over your work

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Clear and concise communication skills

• Strong problem-solving ability—comfortable working through ambiguity

Preferred

• Exposure to or willingness to learn data tools and programming (e.g., Python, SQL)

• Familiarity with Excel and data analysis
