Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in the budgetary planning and execution of the MIDLANT program.
- Assist in the review and analysis of program budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals and funding requirements.
- Support adjustments to services and program activities in response to updated budget constraints and priorities.
- Coordinate the acceptance and issuance of funding documents between the Comptroller, customers, and service providers.
- Review and reconcile obligations against expenditures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Assist management in the development, tracking, and reporting of performance metrics.
- Research, compile, and analyze departmental performance data for reports, briefings, and leadership review.
- Monitor program execution to ensure compliance with established government guidance and directives.
- Track updates to government program guidance and communicate changes to leadership in a timely manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (Business Administration or related field preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of NAVFAC’s facility management organization.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including preparing reports, correspondence, and briefing materials for leadership.
- Experience with NAVFAC financial management systems or similar government financial systems.
- Proficiency with computer applications and the ability to perform daily tasks within system-based environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with NAVFAC-specific systems, including FIS, COGNOS, STARS-FL, SABRS, WAWF, iNFACMAN, MAXIMO, and CFMS.
- Familiarity with construction management software and its application in program support.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new financial and program management systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required by the Task Order.
- Must be able to complete the SF-85P (Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions).
- Ability to meet base and/or facility access requirements as defined by each Task Order.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required; valid passport preferred.
- Must be a United States citizen.
