In this role, you'll help shape a positive environment where students can build independence, connect with peers, and participate in a range of social, recreational, and learning activities throughout the summer experience.
What You'll Do
As the Summer Program Supervisor, you will:
- Organize and manage the day-to-day operations of the summer program
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to program staff
- Create a welcoming environment that prioritizes inclusion, engagement, and safety
- Monitor program activities to ensure adherence to policies and safety requirements
- Work closely with participants, families, and external partners to support program success
- Assist with outreach and hiring efforts and play an active role in delivering a 3-week summer program
- Hours will adjust in response to program requirements
- Schedule typically falls within standard daytime hours
- Must be available for recruitment efforts and fully commit to the three-week camp session
- $60,000 annual salary
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- At least two years of experience supporting individuals who are blind or visually impaired
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage staff effectively
- Strong verbal communication and organizational skills
- Experience organizing and facilitating group programs or activities
- Current driver's license with dependable transportation
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment and ongoing drug screening requirements
