Comptroller

Position Summary

The Comptroller will oversee the organization’s financial and accounting functions, ensuring operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of financial reporting. This role will serve as a strategic business partner by providing financial insights, strengthening internal controls, and supporting executive decision-making through effective financial management and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all accounting and financial operations of the organization.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
• Coordinate and manage month-end/year-end closing processes and external audits.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Develop financial reports and performance analyses for executive leadership.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
• Mentor and lead the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting and financial management, including team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
