PRIMARY FUNCTION: As a Long-term Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to Special Education students, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
Typical Duties And Responsibilities
- Facilitate student learning in concepts and skills for Special Education students
- Implement lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and development.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole.
