Your Mission
- You will plan, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure of aconnic and NewTal, ensuring system availability and performance.
- You will administer Microsoft and Linux servers as well as virtualization environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox, ensuring a stable and high-performing IT landscape.
- You will manage our network infrastructure using Fortinet firewalls and HPE switches, configure routing and VLANs, and optimize security and performance.
- You will administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other domain services, ensuring smooth integration.
- You will plan and execute updates and patches to maintain system stability, security, and up-to-date IT environments.
- You will develop and manage our Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online.
- You will support Microsoft Terminal Servers, Remote Desktop Services, and our backup infrastructure based on Veeam Backup & Replication.
- You will provide 1st and 2nd level support, resolve complex IT issues, and coordinate IT projects in server and network environments together with internal and external partners.
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, a comparable IT qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), or several years of experience administering enterprise IT environments.
- Experience in system integration and operating modern IT infrastructures.
- Confident handling of Microsoft client and server operating systems, Linux, and Apple macOS.
- Experience with VMware (ESXi, vCenter), Veeam Backup & Replication, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Fluent German language skills and good English language skills.
- Strong teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, and a reliable working style.
- Willingness to learn, motivation for continuous development, and a proactive hands-on mentality.
- Ability to work independently and maintain oversight even in complex IT environments.
