Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite)

Job Summary
yWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to support mission-critical applications for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise infrastructure architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available systems across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), cloud platforms, application architecture, and enterprise infrastructure design
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and architecture.
- 8+ years of experience with Windows Server administration and architecture.
- Experience designing infrastructure for AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of application architecture and application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, security, and systems integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
- Previous State Government experience.
- 3+ years of Network Administration experience.
- Experience administering IIS, Apache, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and secure web infrastructure.
- Experience designing highly available Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Knowledge of network, application, and database security best practices.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Veracode.
- Knowledge of Terraform and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShift container orchestration.
- Experience with Cloudflare and enterprise cloud networking.
- Proficiency with architecture and diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and Draw.io.
