The Role

Anglicare are currently seeking to hire a Business Analyst to support the business in ensuring successful project execution of key projects aligned to Anglicare Queensland's Strategy - namely a key program of work within Finance, Property and Procurement team, to uplift the systems, processes and procedures supporting the portfolio.

Your role in supporting Anglicare will include:

  • Engage stakeholders and apply a structured approach for the collection, documentation and analysis of business needs and desired outcomes
  • Elicit and document requirements by reviewing existing documentation and running requirements gathering workshops (where necessary)
  • Facilitate business process improvement workshops (where necessary)
  • Document information and procedures utilising BPMN
  • Undertake business process analysis and redesign in collaboration with the business through the review and amendment of existing As-Is / To-Be business processes and workflows
  • Perform gap analysis & impact assessments
  • Assess and enhance financial processes, enabling accurate GL reporting by aligning data flows and finance system (D365) enablement with regulatory obligations.
  • Work with the business to review and amend existing procedure manuals and guides
  • Assist in writing project artefacts such as business case, scoping documents, user stories and test scenarios etc.

What you will bring to the role

  • Valid Aged Care Worker Screening Check (or ability to attain)
  • Current Queensland Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or significant experience within these fields.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst ideally supporting finance projects
