BYD France is the French National Sales Company of BYD BV Europe and BYD Company Ltd, a China-based company and a leading global supplier of green energy technologies. BYD France offers a range of electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, buses & forklifts. BYD is expanding its operations in France to support a growing portfolio of New Electric Vehicle Passenger car and LCVs projects

Key Responsibilities:

• In early project stages, collaborate with the creative team to refine concepts, provide feasible recommendations, and support client presentations. Offer expert advice on film style, visual language, framing, and rhythm – supplying references as needed.
• Develop detailed storyboards and scripts based on approved creative concepts.
• Maintain budget awareness – flexibly achieve desired visual effects within target budgets.
• On set, ensure creative vision is realised, give clear direction on each shot’s requirements, and oversee overall quality.
• Guide post-production: editing, VFX, sound design, music, subtitles, and finishing.

• Minimum 5 years of director experience, with a recognised portfolio of automotive commercials preferred. Background in Film, CG Animation, Advertising, or a related field.
• Excellent copywriting and execution skills; strong sense of framing, cinematography, and aesthetic refinement. Proven ability to manage every stage of commercial production – from pre-production to final delivery – and control shooting schedules as well as post workflows.
• Familiar with professional cinematography, art direction, and lighting techniques, as well as current trending formats and creative approaches. Sound knowledge of advertising laws and regulations applicable in European countries, and full understanding of TVC, product video, and corporate image film production processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills – ability to accurately receive briefs and assign tasks. Excellent pitching ability.
