IT Operations / System Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliable operation of the IT infrastructure in day-to-day business, including servers, clients, networks, and cloud services
• Act as the central point of contact for user support, handling patch and update management, error analysis, and troubleshooting
• Plan and execute rollouts of new systems, applications, and services, including:
• Time and resource planning
• Risk assessment
• Coordination, documentation, and control of test, go-live, and hypercare phases
• Work closely with internal departments and external service providers, acting as the interface between technology and organization
• Contribute to the strategic development and modernization of the IT landscape

Your Profile

• Proven experience administering macOS and Windows 11 clients as well as Linux servers
• Solid understanding of virtualization and container technologies such as Proxmox, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of networking technologies, including routers, switches, and VPNs
• Experience with identity, device, and access management platforms (e.g. JumpCloud)
• Initial experience with automation and scripting, using tools or languages such as Python, Shell/Bash, JavaScript, Ansible, or Jenkins
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace is a plus
• Strong hands-on mentality, combined with an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Enthusiasm for agile working methods, modern technologies, and thinking beyond standard solutions
• Proximity to Münster is desirable, but not a strict requirement
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
