One of the largest institutional bank is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Business Execution Manager to serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to senior leadership within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will play a critical part in driving business execution, operational oversight, strategic planning, financial management, and executive-level coordination across a complex organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business management experience within banking or financial services, exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in highly regulated, enterprise-scale environments


Job Title: Operational Strategy & Business Execution Manager

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

Duration: 06 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)


Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Executive Leadership:

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Department, supporting long-range planning, business priorities, and organizational objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate executive-level initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional strategic programs.
  • Prepare leadership materials, presentations, governance updates, and executive communications for senior management meetings.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, track action items, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key liaison between leadership, business units, technology, operations, finance, compliance, and external partners.

Business Operations & Execution:

  • Oversee day-to-day operational management and execution activities for the department.
  • Establish and maintain governance routines, reporting frameworks, and operational controls.
  • Drive process optimization, operational efficiency improvements, and quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and business performance metrics to support executive decision-making.
  • Coordinate departmental deliverables, milestone tracking, and strategic reporting activities.

Financial & Resource Management:

  • Support annual budget planning, forecasting, and financial oversight activities.
  • Manage departmental headcount reporting, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee vendor management processes, contract coordination, and external partner engagement.
  • Monitor resource allocation and operational spend against business objectives.

Risk, Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, governance standards, and operational controls.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and control gaps with transparency and sound judgment.
  • Support regulatory, administrative, and cross-functional governance activities within the organization.
  • Partner with risk, audit, compliance, and technology teams to maintain strong operational controls.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience within financial services, banking operations, business management, or strategic execution roles.
  • Strong experience supporting senior leadership within large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to manage executive-level initiatives and drive strategic programs to completion.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong operational management, governance, and reporting experience.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within regulated financial services environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within large banking institutions or global financial organizations.
  • Exposure to regulatory, operational risk, or governance functions.
  • Experience managing budgets, headcount planning, and vendor relationships.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
