What You’ll Do
- Drive regional growth strategy for the pressure portfolio: revenue, margin, market share, and competitive position.
- Identify high-growth applications, vertical markets, and account opportunities to expand share and accelerate adoption.
- Lead installed base penetration and competitive displacement initiatives within target industries.
- Partner closely with regional sales leadership to improve pipeline quality, win strategies, value messaging, and sales enablement.
- Establish and reinforce pricing discipline through governance, tools, and deal support—balancing competitiveness with margin performance.
- Own forecasting, demand planning inputs, and business performance reporting for the portfolio.
- Drive lifecycle execution: new product introductions, portfolio optimization, SKU rationalization, and end-of-life planning.
- Monitor competitive landscape and customer feedback to inform roadmap, positioning, and product improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, operations, engineering, quality, regulatory, marketing) and with global teams to deliver results.
- Experience in a manufacturer of industrial instruments or automation equipment (not only distributor/rep firm)
- Direct experience with pressure transmitters or similar process field instrumentation
- Customer exposure in oil & gas, chemical, power, and/or water/wastewater
- Background in product management, product marketing, or applications engineering (not purely sales)
- Proven experience supporting a sales team to win business
- Experience with pricing, forecasting, and/or profitability management
- Familiarity with North American certifications/regulatory approvals (ex: hazardous location, safety, compliance)
- Experience working in a structured, global organization
- Comfortable using ERP/CRM/forecasting systems
- Able to work independently with minimal ramp-up; strong technical grasp of pressure products
- Direct experience with pressure transmitters or related measurement instrumentation (temperature/flow/level exposure is a plus)
- Demonstrated success driving regional revenue growth and margin performance
- Strong analytical and financial acumen (pricing, forecasting, business case development)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable with customer-facing discussions and executive-level storytelling
- Ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders in a centralized, Japan-headquartered matrixed organization
- Self-starter mindset: organized, proactive, and able to operate with minimal oversight
- Experience supporting go-to-market execution in process industries
- Competitive displacement strategy and installed base growth experience
- Experience with segmentation, value-based pricing, and commercial excellence
