  • Required skills:

    • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong understanding of data architecture principles, practices, and technologies.
    • 4+ years of overall development experience.
    • 2+ years of experience with Azure services (Microsoft Fabric is a must, Data Factory, Azure Storage, Purview, etc.)
    • Solid experience with at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java, etc.).
    • Proven experience building DWH and data lakes, designing ELT / ETL processes.
    • Deep understanding of data governance, data management, and data quality concepts.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into practical data architecture solutions.
    • Proficiency in data modeling tools.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.

    Will be a plus:

    • Experience with DataOps, data mesh etc.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Design and create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various data domains
    • Define data standards, data governance policies, and data management processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the organization.
    • Evaluate and recommend appropriate data storage, integration, and processing technologies, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based solutions.
    • Collaborate with data engineering and development teams to implement data integration, and ETL/ELT processes.
    • Define and implement data security and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
    • Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure scalability, availability, and performance of data platforms and environments.
    • Document data artifacts, including data models, data flow diagrams, and system integrations.
