Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the mission, annual goals and objectives of Chhange and report on progress towards stated goals.
- Respond to and prioritize calls from the community. Serve as the first point of contact for information about Chhange, including events, programs, and related administrative procedures.
- Maintain, monitor, and update Chhange calendar.
- Manage flow of online and physical correspondence and record the incoming donations and payments. Open, review, and distribute incoming mail and e-mail, enter all checks received into the NEON system and forward to the bookkeeper for deposit (while maintaining confidentiality as required).
- Prepare e-blasts for programs and events as recommended by the Executive Director or Program Manager.
- Manage the logistics of programs and events, including procuring rooms, catering, arranging for speaker travel and payments, on-site registration, liaising with tech and catering, signage.
- Assist with social media and website updates on a timely basis.
- Assist in supporting fundraising events and membership campaigns, including invoicing all receivables, and overseeing donor thank-you correspondence.
- Support the development efforts of Chhange, utilizing discretion and maintaining confidentiality as required.
- Obtain committee reports and prepare Board materials for Board meetings and retreats, utilizing discretion and maintaining confidentiality as required.
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and provide administrative support for volunteer tasks and training.
- Maintain office inventory and order supplies.
- Schedule service for and follow up on equipment, facility maintenance, and tech support.
- Assist in administration of security protocol.
- Develop/update SOPs for all administrative procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of administrative experience.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in problem-solving and knowing when to ask for help.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
- Experience with social media platforms and familiarity with website management preferred.
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required.
- Local and overnight travel may be required.
- Health insurance Chhange will contribute up to $500/month toward insurance coverage offered through Chhange.
- Two weeks paid vacation, exclusive of additional paid vacation from December 25 - January 1.
- 4-day work week.
- Reimbursement for classes or professional development that relate to Chhange’s mission and/or this position.
