Your Tasks
- You identify strategic fields of action and have knowledge of the client's business model structure through discussions with contacts at decision-maker level.
- You develop sales strategies and take the lead in sales activities.
- You derive potential business models and service offerings for IAV.
- You build established and sustainable customer relationships and represent the customer within IAV.
- You will improve IAV's positioning and increase its attractiveness in existing business and in new business areas.
- You will be responsible for bid management, commercial negotiations and cross-divisional bid coordination.
- You evaluate customer satisfaction data and derive follow-up measures.
- You will monitor the market and competition and maintain the acquisition tool.
- Successfully completed studies in economics, engineering or a comparable field of study
- Many years of experience in developing solutions for the rail, aviation and maritime industries
- Knowledge of lead generation, cold calling and building long-term customer relationships
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze complex customer requirements and develop suitable solutions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills at all hierarchical levels
- High degree of initiative, results orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
- Flexibility and willingness to travel (approx. 30-40%)
- Very good knowledge of German and English (one of the two languages at least C1 level)
- Experience in dealing with B2B customers and developing sales strategies
- Affinity for business models and value chains in a digital context
- Structured way of working and enjoy working with sophisticated technical solutions
- Passion for collaboration, conflict management and customer orientation
