About The Role

Optimal Innovation is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing iGaming operator for a senior leadership role based in Armenia. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and scale operations for emerging sportsbook and casino platforms across South Asian markets.

As CEO / Head of Operations, you will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing player experience, and building scalable operational frameworks across multiple regions.

Our client is an established operator in the iGaming space, focused on delivering high-quality player experiences across sportsbook and casino products. With a strong presence in South Asia and expansion plans underway, the company is entering a critical growth phase.

Primary Objectives

  • Drive revenue growth across existing and new markets
  • Understand and optimize the complete player lifecycle
  • Lead market expansion across South Asia
  • Build and scale operational teams in Armenia
  • Establish efficient, scalable processes across functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across target markets
  • Track and optimize key performance metrics (acquisition, retention, monetization)
  • Align campaigns and partnerships with ROI-focused outcomes
  • Player Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee the full player journey from acquisition to retention
  • Identify pain points and improve user experience through data-driven actions
  • Build retention strategies including VIP programs, rewards, and engagement initiatives
  • Market Expansion
  • Lead entry into new geographies across South Asia
  • Manage local partnerships, teams, and market-specific strategies
  • Ensure localization of product, payments, and marketing
  • Marketing Leadership
  • Oversee multi-channel acquisition (digital, affiliates, influencers, etc.)
  • Optimize marketing performance metrics such as CAC, LTV, and ROAS
  • Guide content, creative strategy, and community engagement
  • Payments & Operations
  • Oversee payment infrastructure and transaction flows
  • Improve conversion rates and payout efficiency
  • Ensure operational reliability and scalability
  • Process Optimization
  • Drive efficiency across marketing, operations, and support functions
  • Implement automation tools and scalable workflows
  • Establish SOPs and operational best practices
  • Leadership & Team Building
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams in Armenia
  • Develop team structures, KPIs, and performance culture
  • Mentor future leaders within the organization

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years of leadership experience in iGaming / Sportsbook / Casino
  • Strong understanding of player lifecycle and growth strategies
  • Experience scaling operations in South Asian markets
  • Background in performance marketing, affiliates, and payments
  • Hands-on leader with the ability to operate in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with crypto and alternative payment systems
  • Knowledge of regional compliance frameworks
  • Exposure to AI/ML tools in fraud detection or personalization
