SAP Application Engineer

- Install, maintain and support SAP implementations.
- Work with end users to resolve issues related to Sales & Production Orders, BOMs, Routings, MRP, STOs, Forecast, Demand, Capacity Planning, Subcontracting and Scheduling Agreements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues regarding Raw Material and Finish Good Traceability Setup (Warehouse Serialization).
- Understanding of SAP ERP modules (i.e., MM, SD, PP).
- Document application processes and procedures. Stay up to date on new technologies and applications.
- Quick understanding and learning of complex Supply Chain systems.
- Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts as needed.
- Ensure testing activities within given systems are being executed according to test plan.
- Provide mentoring / training to team members.
- Respond to user requests for assistance with system functionality.
- Submit issues to appropriate vendors that are outside the scope of local IT.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry standard technical certifications or equivalent field experience may substitute.
- 5+ years proven application support experience.
- Manufacturing experience in Production environments using SAP is required.
- Supply Chain experience in Manufacturing environments using SAP is required.
- Material and Finish Goods Quality module in SAP is desirable.
- Previous configuration/troubleshooting of SAP Fiori Apps, CDS Views and Reporting/Dashboards is desirable.
- Knowledge of at least one Manufacturing Supply Chain Control Tower system (either commercial or in-house) and its associated KPIs is required.
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications.

- On/off shift support will be needed for project startup support.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and have strong reading comprehension and listening skills.

- Have a desire to learn and develop technical skills to keep current with changing operations.
- Demonstrate process skills – ability to adapt to an ever-changing manufacturing environment and understanding of process operations.
- A self-starter who can identify, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks.
