This role is centered on leading a high-impact website migration and supporting the evolution of a modern, user-friendly digital experience. You will play a key part in transitioning a subdomain into a unified main website while ensuring performance, scalability, and design integrity throughout the process. Working across engineering, product, marketing, and creative teams, you will translate business and brand needs into robust technical implementations. The position requires strong expertise in CMS platforms and the ability to operate in a complex backend environment while maintaining a focus on user experience. You will also help establish scalable website workflows that empower non-technical teams to manage content more efficiently. This is a hands-on, collaborative role where technical execution directly supports brand clarity and accessibility. The environment is fast-moving, cross-functional, and highly focused on delivering a seamless digital experience.

Accountabilities:

Lead the migration of a subdomain into the primary website, ensuring technical accuracy, stability, and a seamless user experience

    • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, marketing, and creative teams to align technical execution with business goals
    • Implement updated website designs, messaging, and content in partnership with design and copywriting contributors
    • Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot WordPress and Squarespace environments, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and reliability
    • Build scalable CMS structures and workflows that enable marketing teams to independently manage and update content
    • Manage technical aspects of migration including redirects, templates, integrations, and page architecture
    • Ensure SEO considerations are properly implemented throughout the migration and content updates
    • Conduct thorough QA to ensure cross-device responsiveness, accessibility, and high-quality user experience
    • Provide guidance on technical feasibility, best practices, and implementation strategy
    • Support ongoing website improvements and post-migration optimization efforts

    Requirements:

    5+ years of professional web development experience with strong expertise in WordPress and Squarespace

      • Proven experience leading or contributing to complex website migrations or CMS transitions
      • Strong understanding of CMS architecture, responsive web development, SEO fundamentals, and performance optimization
      • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, marketing, and creative teams
      • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple stakeholders
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage technical complexity independently
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain risks, timelines, and dependencies
      • Experience improving CMS workflows for non-technical users is a strong plus
      • Familiarity with accessibility standards, UX principles, and modern web best practices
      • Experience working with freelance designers or content creators is preferred
