Accountabilities:

    • Lead and execute customer trials from planning through completion, ensuring proper setup, equipment coordination, data collection, evaluation, and successful transition to implementation.
    • Provide technical expertise and serve as a trusted advisor to customers by addressing complex operational challenges and recommending performance-enhancing solutions.
    • Collaborate closely with sales teams to support account growth, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen customer retention efforts.
    • Deliver advanced troubleshooting and process optimization support to reduce attrition risk and improve operational efficiency within customer facilities.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of industry technologies, product innovations, and digital solution capabilities to support evolving customer needs.
    • Conduct customer health checks, performance reviews, and technical consultations to reinforce long-term partnerships and drive measurable value.
    • Ensure accurate documentation and management of trial data, customer interactions, and sales activities using company systems and reporting tools.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting cross-functional collaboration across technical, commercial, and operational teams.

    Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical discipline; specialized industry education preferred.
      • Minimum 7 years of experience in chemical sales, industrial process engineering, technical consulting, or related customer-facing technical roles.
      • Strong background in pulp and paper manufacturing processes, chemical applications, or industrial operations support.
      • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using analytical thinking, data evaluation, and process improvement methodologies.
      • Proven experience managing customer trials, process evaluations, and technical solution implementations in industrial environments.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive presentations and technical recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
      • Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and influence operational decision-making.
      • Familiarity with digital tools, CRM platforms, data reporting systems, and industrial performance monitoring solutions.
      • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is considered an advantage.
      • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–75%) to support customer sites and project execution.
