You will lead a team of Growth Engineers responsible for improving key engagement, conversion, and retention metrics across a consumer-facing platform. The role blends people leadership, technical depth, and product thinking, requiring strong execution in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You will define experimentation strategy, oversee A/B testing initiatives, and ensure rigorous measurement of growth outcomes. Acting as a key cross-functional leader, you will partner with product, data, and engineering teams to scale growth systems and insights. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence user experience and business performance through data-driven innovation and experimentation.

Accountabilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of Growth Engineers, setting clear goals, performance expectations, and fostering a high-performing, experimentation-driven culture.
    • Own the design, prioritization, and execution of growth experiments aimed at improving acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention metrics.
    • Drive experimentation strategy at scale, including defining frameworks, success criteria, and measurement standards for A/B testing initiatives.
    • Serve as an escalation point for complex cross-team technical and product challenges, ensuring alignment with long-term growth strategy.
    • Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives and ensure consistent execution.
    • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI frameworks to provide visibility into growth performance and trends.
    • Analyze user behavior and experiment results to generate actionable insights and guide strategic decision-making.
    • Lead hiring efforts, talent development, and performance management to build a strong and scalable engineering organization.

    Requirements

      • 5+ years of experience managing software engineers in a technical leadership role.
      • Strong background in growth engineering, mobile app development, or consumer product optimization.
      • Hands-on technical experience in software engineering, with ability to engage in system design and technical trade-offs.
      • Proven track record of leading A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven product improvements.
      • Experience working with analytics tools, KPI tracking, and performance measurement systems.
      • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in team building, coaching, and performance management.
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with strong decision-making under uncertainty.
      • Strong analytical thinking with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
