Accountabilities:

• Design, build, release, and operate end-to-end AI-powered product features and customer-facing applications in production environments.
• Develop scalable full-stack applications using modern TypeScript and React architectures, including server rendering, backend-for-frontend patterns, and streaming interfaces.
• Build AI-driven functionality using structured outputs, tool/function calling, grounding techniques, and real-time streaming user experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and domain experts to validate assumptions, define product outcomes, and iterate rapidly based on user feedback and data.
• Transform successful product learnings into reusable internal platform components, shared libraries, evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and engineering best practices.
• Implement robust evaluation and release processes, including automated testing, regression analysis, telemetry instrumentation, and human review workflows where appropriate.
• Optimize application reliability, performance, scalability, and operational cost through observability tools, monitoring frameworks, and clearly defined service-level objectives.
• Ensure security, privacy, and compliance are embedded into application design, including authentication, authorization, auditability, prompt injection mitigation, and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture through disciplined Git workflows, code reviews, testing standards, and collaborative problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Strong senior-level experience building production applications with TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience developing full-stack React applications involving routing, server rendering, server components/actions, and backend-for-frontend architectures.
• Experience working with asynchronous systems, streaming technologies, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and managing cancellation or backpressure scenarios.
• Strong command-line proficiency and comfort working in macOS and Linux development environments.
• Proven expertise in API integrations and delivering scalable software solutions in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, regression, and release validation practices.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, or similar platforms into production systems.
• Familiarity with structured outputs, tool/function calling, grounding techniques, and AI evaluation or regression frameworks.
• Experience building reusable internal engineering tools, SDKs, libraries, or platform primitives that achieved real organizational adoption.
• Strong understanding of observability, telemetry, reliability engineering, and secure system design principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup-style environments with shifting priorities and continuous iteration.
