This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology consultant to help shape and expand a growing Document Management Systems (DMS) practice serving leading legal organizations. In this role, you will work on complex, enterprise-scale projects focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing document management solutions for sophisticated law firm environments. You will collaborate with highly skilled consultants and industry experts while advising clients on best practices, system enhancements, and technology strategies that improve operational efficiency and knowledge management. Accountabilities:
- Assist clients with the design, implementation, and optimization of Document Management Systems, including platforms such as NetDocuments, Worldox, and iManage.
- Lead and support complex DMS deployments, migrations, integrations, and enterprise rollouts for law firms and legal organizations.
- Evaluate existing client environments and provide recommendations for performance tuning, issue resolution, system enhancements, and operational improvements.
- Develop, manage, and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, and delivery timelines to ensure successful project execution.
- Contribute to the refinement of implementation methodologies, technical standards, and best practices for the DMS consulting practice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between DMS platforms and desktop applications.
- Maintain deep subject matter expertise in legal technology trends, document management systems, and industry best practices.
- Deliver exceptional client service by proactively managing work quality, communication, and project outcomes.
- Strong consulting experience within law firms or legal technology environments.
- Proven expertise in the analysis, design, implementation, administration, and support of enterprise Document Management Systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience within the legal industry, including leading NetDocuments or iManage implementation projects.
- 5+ years of experience working on large-scale DMS deployments, migrations, or product rollouts.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience integrating desktop applications with Document Management Systems.
- Solid understanding of law firm operations, workflows, and risk management considerations within legal environments.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within remote and distributed consulting teams.
