This role sits at the intersection of modern data engineering and enterprise analytics, driving the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native data solutions.
You will work at the forefront of Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics platforms to help clients modernize their data ecosystems.
The position combines hands-on technical delivery with strategic consulting and stakeholder engagement at executive level.
You will contribute to end-to-end solution architecture, from data modeling to visualization and performance optimization.
Working in a global delivery environment, you will collaborate with distributed teams across the U.S. and India.
This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly shapes client data strategy and long-term analytics transformation.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, and pipelines.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models, semantic layers, and high-performing Power BI dashboards.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI reporting ecosystems, including DAX optimization, data modeling, and enterprise reporting strategies.
- Work with Databricks and Spark-based environments to build and enhance ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions.
- Collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams to deliver managed services and consulting outcomes across multiple client engagements.
- Engage directly with stakeholders and executives to define reporting strategies, analytics roadmaps, and data architecture direction.
- Support ongoing solution enhancement, maintenance, and feature development within existing client environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, and Dataflows Gen2.
- Deep expertise in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, performance tuning, and enterprise-scale reporting.
- Experience working with Databricks in Azure environments and building Spark-based data processing pipelines.
- Solid understanding of modern data architecture, including medallion/layered models and OneLake concepts.
- Strong knowledge of ELT processes, data integration, and large-scale data transformation practices.
- Experience with Azure data services such as Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, or Synapse.
- Strong consulting mindset with excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.
- Experience in dimensional modeling, star schema design, and working with structured/unstructured data sources is highly valued.
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads, Copilot-driven analytics, or advanced visualization is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications in Fabric, Power BI, or Azure are an advantage.
