This role sits at the intersection of automation strategy, software engineering, and operational excellence, leading enterprise RPA delivery within a high-impact healthcare environment. You will guide a small but critical automation team responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining UiPath solutions that directly improve operational efficiency and care delivery workflows. The position blends hands-on architectural leadership with production support ownership, ensuring automation assets remain stable, secure, and business-aligned. You will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize use cases that drive measurable value across the organization. A key focus is balancing innovation with reliability, particularly in managing both modern UiPath platforms and legacy Python automation. This is a highly collaborative role where engineering discipline, process thinking, and leadership converge to shape enterprise automation maturity.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead the design, delivery, and operational stability of enterprise automation solutions while guiding a small development team. You will ensure automation initiatives are aligned with business priorities and built for long-term scalability and reliability.
- Lead and mentor a 4–5 person RPA team delivering UiPath-based automation solutions across business functions.
- Partner with business and operational stakeholders to prioritize high-value automation opportunities.
- Oversee production environments including UiPath Orchestrator, VMs, queues, scheduling, monitoring, and incident response.
- Ensure automation assets follow SDLC best practices, including version control, testing, documentation, and lifecycle governance.
- Maintain and support legacy Python bots integrated within the broader automation ecosystem.
- Define and enforce automation architecture standards, reusable components, and scalable design patterns.
- Conduct technical reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain runbooks, exception handling plans, and operational documentation.
- Support Agile delivery practices using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation reliability, performance, and enterprise adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automation delivery, technical leadership, or solution architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots, enterprise deployment patterns).
- Experience maintaining and supporting Python-based automation in production environments.
- Proven experience with runtime operations including monitoring, incident response, and system stabilization.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small technical team or squad.
- Strong understanding of automation governance, security, and SDLC practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Experience in healthcare, home care, or regulated industries is preferred.
- UiPath certifications (e.g., Advanced RPA Developer or Solution Architect) are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled automation, OCR, or intelligent document processing is a plus.
