Principal Resident Architect

Accountabilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-grade data platform architectures leveraging advanced Postgres, AI, and cloud-native technologies to meet customer objectives.
• Lead full-stack technical execution across hardware, infrastructure, Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, databases, AI platforms, and application layers.
• Perform hands-on installation and configuration of operating systems, database stacks, and platform software on enterprise server environments.
• Drive high-availability deployments and benchmark system reliability, scalability, and performance for mission-critical operations.
• Execute complex database and application migrations while coordinating with engineering, operations, customer success, and product teams.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customer engagements, ensuring unified communication and successful delivery outcomes.
• Develop and validate AI and agentic proof-of-concept solutions, including vector-based and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications.
• Build automation frameworks and reusable deployment workflows that accelerate infrastructure readiness and reduce delivery timelines.

Requirements:

• Active and current US Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, consulting, or enterprise data platform engineering.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack engineering and architecture across infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes orchestration and Red Hat OpenShift within secure on-premises environments.
• Deep understanding of high-availability database architectures, preferably with PostgreSQL technologies.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end technical solutions spanning hardware, infrastructure, data platforms, AI systems, and application ecosystems.
• Solid knowledge of cloud and hybrid infrastructure models, automation tooling, and scalable deployment methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in highly regulated, security-focused, and mission-critical environments.
