This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Operations Program Manager, Global SOC in the United States.

This role sits at the core of a 24/7 Security Operations Center, responsible for transforming how security analysts work, investigate threats, and scale operations. You will translate frontline SOC realities into structured, scalable processes that improve detection, response, and overall operational efficiency. Acting as the connective layer between SOC leadership, engineering, and support operations, you will eliminate friction, standardize workflows, and build the reporting systems that drive strategic decisions. This is a highly cross-functional, data-driven role where operational discipline meets real-time cybersecurity execution. You will not only optimize how investigations flow through the SOC but also help shape how the organization evolves as threat volumes grow. The environment is fast-paced, technical, and mission-critical, requiring strong judgment and systems thinking.

Accountabilities:

    • Partner with SOC leadership to deeply analyze analyst workflows, investigation patterns, and operational bottlenecks, translating insights into a prioritized roadmap of process and tooling improvements.
    • Own and maintain a structured operational backlog in collaboration with engineering teams, ensuring clear prioritization, execution tracking, and measurable impact delivery.
    • Design, build, and maintain SOC reporting infrastructure that provides actionable insights into queue health, MTTD/MTTR, escalation trends, analyst performance, and operational efficiency.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment with support operations and engineering to ensure consistency of workflows, standards, and scalable operational practices across teams.
    • Define, improve, and enforce documentation standards across SOC operations to ensure accuracy, usability, and audit-ready operational maturity.
    • Translate operational gaps and workflow analysis into clear, executable requirements for engineering and product teams, minimizing ambiguity and rework.
    • Lead rollout and adoption of new tools, workflows, and training programs, ensuring successful change management and continuous improvement across the SOC.

    Requirements:

This role requires 5+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, or business operations within a technical, security, or support-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, operational rigor, and the ability to turn complex workflows into structured systems and measurable outcomes.

      • 5+ years of experience in operations, business operations, or process improvement roles, ideally within a SOC, cybersecurity, or technical support environment
      • Proven ability to analyze complex workflows and convert findings into structured, prioritized operational requirements
      • Experience building or managing operational dashboards and reporting systems that drive decision-making rather than passive reporting
      • Familiarity with SOC environments, including ticketing systems, alert queues, SLAs, escalation paths, and incident workflows
      • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with engineering, product, or technical teams to deliver operational improvements
      • Ability to manage backlogs, prioritize initiatives, and communicate tradeoffs clearly with minimal oversight
      • Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret operational metrics and turn them into actionable insights
      • Comfort using AI tools as part of daily workflows, with an interest in evolving automation and agentic operations in security environments

      Benefits:

        • 100% remote work environment
        • Competitive compensation package with salary ranging up to $200,000 base plus bonus and equity
        • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
        • 401(k) with employer contribution
        • Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays
        • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
        • Stock options for all full-time employees
        • Home office setup reimbursement and monthly digital stipend
        • Professional development and education support
        • Mental health and coaching support via external platforms
        • Strong focus on inclusivity, flexibility, and employee well-being.
