Principal Mobile Architect

A highly strategic and hands-on mobile architecture role focused on shaping the future of large-scale Super App platforms.
You will lead architectural decisions across Android and iOS ecosystems, ensuring scalability, performance, and modularity.
The position operates in a complex enterprise environment with multiple squads and fast-paced product evolution.
You will play a key role in defining technical standards, engineering governance, and mobile best practices.
There is strong emphasis on innovation, including the adoption of AI to accelerate software delivery and engineering productivity.
You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, tech leads, and product stakeholders to drive technical excellence end-to-end.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will define and evolve the mobile architecture strategy for a large-scale Super App, ensuring scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability. You will lead technical direction across Android and iOS platforms, guiding modularization, CI/CD evolution, and engineering best practices across multiple squads.

• Define and evolve end-to-end mobile architecture for Super App ecosystems
• Lead modularization strategies and feature-based architecture design
• Set technical standards for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development
• Design scalable integration patterns between modules, services, and features
• Drive CI/CD pipeline evolution for enterprise-grade mobile delivery
• Establish observability, performance, offline-first, and security standards
• Lead architectural decision-making processes, RFCs, and technical governance
• Mentor senior engineers and tech leads across mobile teams
• Promote adoption of AI tools to improve engineering productivity and quality

Requirements:

You bring deep experience in mobile architecture and large-scale enterprise applications, with strong expertise in both Android and iOS ecosystems. You are skilled in building modular, scalable systems and guiding technical teams in complex environments.

• Strong experience in Android architecture using Kotlin
• Strong experience in iOS architecture using Swift
• Proven background in native mobile development for large-scale applications
• Experience with Super Apps or modular mobile architectures
• Expertise in mobile modularization and feature modules
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD for mobile environments
• Deep understanding of mobile performance, observability, and optimization
• Experience with App Store and Play Store release governance
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, OWASP Mobile
• Experience with DDD and micro frontend or modular architectures
• Familiarity with cloud environments and FinOps practices
• Experience leading technical teams in agile environments
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with mentoring experience
