This role sits at the intersection of AI strategy, enterprise consulting, and technical architecture, driving high-impact AI transformation engagements for organizations adopting cutting-edge generative AI technologies. You will act as the strategic lead across complex, multi-stakeholder environments, defining how AI creates measurable business value while guiding executive decision-making from discovery through execution. Working in close partnership with a forward deployed engineering counterpart, you will translate business challenges into AI operating models, adoption roadmaps, and scalable implementation strategies. The role requires comfort operating across both technical and executive audiences, from engineering teams to C-suite leaders. You will shape how organizations adopt, govern, and scale AI in real-world environments powered by frontier models. This is a highly visible, client-facing position where your influence directly impacts transformation outcomes and long-term AI adoption success.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead end-to-end AI strategy engagements, shaping how clients design, adopt, and scale AI systems while ensuring strong alignment between technical execution and business outcomes.
- Own AI engagements as the strategic and architectural lead from discovery through executive handoff
- Conduct structured discovery across technical and business stakeholders to assess AI readiness and organizational goals
- Design AI operating models and adoption frameworks that define governance, workflows, and scaling strategies
- Translate AI initiatives into measurable business outcomes such as efficiency, revenue impact, and risk reduction
- Lead executive workshops, advisory sessions, and presentations for senior leadership teams including CTOs and COOs
- Define AI maturity roadmaps aligned with platform capabilities and client transformation objectives
- Guide technical direction for forward deployed engineers working on implementation, prompting, and automation workflows
- Identify expansion opportunities across business units and shape follow-on engagements during delivery cycles
- Contribute reusable frameworks and methodologies to continuously improve delivery practices across engagements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical architecture, or platform engineering roles
- 3+ years in engineering leadership, solutions architecture, or technical consulting environments
- Strong experience engaging cross-functionally with technical teams and business executives in the same engagement cycle
- Demonstrated ability to design AI operating models, digital transformation strategies, or AI adoption frameworks
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or equivalent systems
- Experience facilitating structured discovery sessions, workshops, and executive advisory discussions
- Strong executive communication skills, including presenting to CTOs, VPs, and business stakeholders
- Working knowledge of modern software development practices including CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native systems
- Experience delivering client-facing consulting or professional services engagements with defined scope and outcomes
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and strategic recommendations
