This role is responsible for owning and optimizing a mission-critical Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environment that supports sales, marketing, customer service, and field operations across a large, multi-stakeholder organization. You will act as the primary technical and functional expert for the platform, ensuring it is configured, integrated, and continuously improved to meet evolving business needs. The position plays a key role in driving CRM strategy, adoption, and data quality while enabling more efficient and insight-driven decision-making. Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, you will translate business requirements into scalable CRM solutions and automation. You will also oversee system enhancements, integrations, and governance in alignment with enterprise architecture standards. This is a highly visible role with strong influence on digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform, including Sales, Customer Service, and related modules.
- Configure and customize D365 components such as entities, workflows, business rules, security roles, forms, and views.
- Manage integrations with enterprise systems including ERP, project management, estimating, and document management tools.
- Partner with business teams to translate requirements into CRM solutions that support sales, marketing, and operational workflows.
- Design and optimize lead-to-opportunity, client lifecycle, and construction-specific workflows and automation.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics using Power BI and native D365 reporting tools.
- Lead platform governance, data quality management, release planning, and system upgrades.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support and resolve escalated CRM-related issues across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership to define the CRM roadmap aligned with digital transformation goals.
- Support CRM adoption through training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
- Work with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure secure and compliant data handling.
- Manage vendor relationships, Microsoft partners, and external implementation consultants.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing or administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE).
- Strong expertise in D365 Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing modules.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of CRM customization (entities, workflows, business rules, security roles, plugins).
- Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into scalable CRM solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex business environments.
- Preferred: experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate industries.
- Preferred: familiarity with construction workflows such as bidding, estimating, and project lifecycle tracking.
- Preferred: Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-210, MB-230, PL-200, PL-400).
- Preferred: experience integrating D365 with ERP systems such as Procore, CMiC, Sage 300, or Viewpoint Vista.
- Competitive salary range: $118,000 – $160,000 annually (remote within the United States).
