Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead the transformation of assurance technology and audit innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and operational excellence. You will be responsible for modernizing tools, workflows, and methodologies while driving adoption across teams.
- Lead assurance technology transformation initiatives focused on automation, AI integration, process optimization, and operational efficiency
- Design and execute strategic roadmaps to modernize audit platforms, tools, and digital workflows
- Partner with assurance leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities for digital transformation and continuous improvement
- Oversee implementation and adoption of audit technologies, including data analytics, AI-enabled tools, and workflow automation platforms
- Standardize and optimize audit processes across teams to improve consistency, scalability, and quality
- Collaborate with IT, risk, compliance, and leadership stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with enterprise objectives
- Monitor emerging technologies, regulatory updates, and industry trends impacting audit and assurance practices
- Lead change management efforts including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption success
- Define KPIs and performance metrics to measure audit efficiency, transformation impact, and quality improvements
- Support capability building by mentoring teams and promoting innovation-focused learning initiatives
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and project delivery timelines for technology programs
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements across all initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- CPA required; additional certifications such as CIA, CISA, PMP, or Six Sigma considered a plus
- 10+ years of experience in public accounting, audit, consulting, or transformation leadership roles
- Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, internal controls, and regulatory standards
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, automation, or technology implementation programs
- Familiarity with audit technologies, data analytics tools, AI solutions, and workflow automation platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and drive organizational change effectively
- Experience in professional services or public accounting environments is strongly preferred
