This role sits at the intersection of AI strategy, risk management, and enterprise transformation, helping organizations responsibly scale AI while unlocking business value. You will advise senior leaders on how to design and implement robust AI governance frameworks that balance innovation with regulatory, ethical, and operational risk considerations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will lead complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across technology, legal, risk, and business teams. The position requires shaping governance models that define how AI is approved, monitored, and optimized across enterprise ecosystems. You will also contribute to building operating models, FinOps guardrails, and decision frameworks that enable scalable AI adoption. This is a highly strategic, client-facing role with strong influence on how global organizations structure and control their AI initiatives.

Accountabilities:

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI governance strategies, ensuring responsible, scalable, and value-driven AI adoption across complex organizations.

    • Conduct AI ecosystem assessments to identify governance gaps and define tailored frameworks aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
    • Design AI governance models including policies, risk tiering frameworks, approval processes, and decision-right structures.
    • Build operating models defining governance bodies, roles, RACIs, and cross-functional collaboration between legal, risk, IT, and product teams.
    • Develop AI FinOps governance guardrails covering cost visibility, usage policies, tool approvals, and budget control mechanisms.
    • Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder sessions to align governance strategy and secure organizational buy-in.
    • Define governance metrics and dashboards to track risk exposure, cost efficiency, compliance, and value realization.
    • Advise on AI governance tools and ensure frameworks are implementable across modern data and AI platforms.
    • Support business development efforts by shaping solution strategies and representing governance expertise in client discussions and external forums.
    • Contribute to thought leadership, methodology development, and internal enablement across AI governance practices.

    Requirements:

    Senior advisory professional with deep expertise in AI, data governance, and enterprise operating models, capable of influencing executive decision-making in complex environments.

      • 10+ years of experience in AI, data ecosystems, or governance advisory roles working with senior stakeholders.
      • Proven experience designing governance frameworks including risk tiering, model governance, and approval processes.
      • Strong background in operating model design, including governance structures, RACIs, and cross-functional accountability models.
      • Solid understanding of AI and GenAI concepts, including model types, agentic workflows, and enterprise use cases.
      • Familiarity with AI governance standards such as NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC 42001.
      • Experience with modern AI and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, and related AI ecosystems).
      • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and executive communication skills with a storytelling mindset.
      • Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
      • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
