Personal Lines Account Manager

BKCW Insurance is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to provide high-level service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current clients in order to educate them on their insurance coverage and provide great experience. Account Managers will develop relationships through communication with clients, carriers, and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues our clients may face. Previous insurance experience is not required. You will receive in-depth training for this role. This position will be in-person in our Killeen, TX office location.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain relationships with clients to better understand and achieve their needs
• Work as a consultant for our clients to quote and issue new business and renewals
• Meet with insurance company representatives to discuss changes, rates, and underwriting to gain better knowledge and understanding of coverages and policy types and how to market to different client's needs
• Work proactively to plan for future renewals and communicate with clients
• Report claims when necessary and contact adjusters to assist on claim questions
• Complete licensing and software system training to learn how to properly document to work through renewals and new business

Qualifications

• Previous client or account management experience preferred, but not required
• Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with a team or independently to accomplish goals
• Strong organization and time management skills, critical thinking, and exceptional communication skills, both over the phone and by email
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Bachelor's degree with a commitment to continuous learning
