Senior Engineering Manager - Frontend - Pro

You will join a global, remote-first engineering organization building advanced trading experiences for a highly demanding user base in the crypto and fintech space. In this role, you will lead a distributed frontend engineering team responsible for the evolution of a high-performance trading interface used by experienced traders worldwide. You will shape technical direction, drive execution, and ensure engineering excellence across scalable and highly interactive UI systems. The environment is fast-paced, product-driven, and deeply collaborative, with strong alignment between engineering, product, and design. You will also play a key role in mentoring engineers, strengthening team culture, and elevating frontend standards across the organization. This is a leadership position where your decisions directly influence product quality, performance, and user experience at global scale.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and grow a distributed frontend engineering team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and technical excellence.
• Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for scalable, modular, and high-performance frontend systems.
• Oversee the delivery of complex UI features for advanced trading and market-facing products.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to align on roadmap and execution priorities.
• Champion frontend performance, accessibility, and responsive design across all user experiences.
• Mentor and coach engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Foster a strong engineering culture centered on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Guide modernization initiatives for frontend architecture, tooling, and developer experience.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and scalability in production systems.
• Actively engage in product feedback loops, including usability reviews and hands-on evaluation.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong focus on frontend or full-stack development.
• 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in a distributed environment.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React, including building complex, high-performance interfaces.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing engineering delivery in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance technical depth with strategic decision-making.
• Passion for building high-quality user experiences at scale.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React Native for mobile applications.
• Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js, Rust, C++, or Java.
• Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or crypto-related products.
