Audio Production Expert

This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work on real-time audio production projects where creativity and technical expertise come together. You will be responsible for building, mixing, and refining multi-track audio sessions using professional digital audio workstations, with a strong focus on authentic workflow demonstration. The position emphasizes not only the final sound quality but also the creative process behind it, including experimentation, iteration, and decision-making. You will collaborate remotely with a production team while showcasing your ability to craft polished, industry-standard audio outputs. Accountabilities:

• Produce, edit, and mix multi-track audio projects using Ardour and/or LMMS as primary production tools.
• Execute full audio production workflows from concept development to final polished mix while documenting the process.
• Demonstrate creative decision-making through experimentation, iteration, and real-time audio adjustments.
• Layer, balance, and enhance sound elements to achieve professional-grade audio quality and depth.
• Clearly communicate production choices, methodologies, and reasoning in written and verbal formats.
• Collaborate remotely with production teams to align on project goals and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure all outputs meet industry standards for audio clarity, consistency, and artistic quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience using Ardour and/or LMMS in professional or semi-professional audio production environments.
• Strong understanding of audio mixing, editing, layering, and end-to-end music production workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to build tracks or audio projects from scratch with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain creative and technical decisions clearly.
• Strong portfolio showcasing completed audio production work is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative production environment.
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements, creative direction, and production challenges.
• Experience across multiple audio formats such as music, podcasts, or sound design is an advantage.
