Feddi gives enterprises a branded, closed-loop wallet that makes payment and loyalty a single action. Customers preload funds and pay with one barcode in the brand’s app/web/WhatsApp; rewards apply automatically or plug into existing programs. Retailers secure prepaid revenue, cut card fees, and capture complete first-party purchase data on every transaction.

(Under the hood for the techies) Feddi Wallet is an SDK + API layer with POS connectors, an event-driven ledger, and a campaign/analytics engine. It’s non-custodial (closed loop; funds stay with the merchant/payment partners) and built for reliability, idempotency, and real-time data.

The Role

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to build and scale Feddi Wallet and future products. This is a full-stack role, with end-to-end responsibility for backend systems, APIs, frontend interfaces, and infrastructure. As one of the first technical hires, you’ll define our tech foundation and work closely with the founder to execute the Feddi vision.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Build systems for real-time payments, wallet management, and reconciliation using Golang, Node.js (Express + TypeScript), and PostgreSQL.
• Frontend Development: Develop enterprise-grade user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
• API and SDK Development: Create APIs and SDKs for seamless integration with enterprise systems.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Set up and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS/GCP.
• DevOps & Reliability: Set up CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and testing frameworks to ensure stable deployments.
• Payment Integration: Work with third-party providers like Stripe Connect for secure, reliable payment flows.
• System Ownership: Lead technical projects from architecture to deployment.
• Security Best Practices: Ensure secure coding, data handling, and compliance with relevant financial standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the founder and other stakeholders to define product direction and user experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid experience building scalable systems with Golang, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient with React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Experience with AWS/GCP, containerization, and secure system design.
• Strong understanding of API development and system scalability.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a startup environment.
