Senior Staff Engineer, Cloud

Accountabilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native architectures.
• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across multiple engineering teams and initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Drive adoption of best practices in cloud engineering, system design, and distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to improving technical maturity across teams and projects.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems in production environments.
• Participate in technical reviews, design discussions, and strategic planning for complex systems.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in cloud engineering, distributed systems, or platform architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, scalability, and high-availability system design.
• Strong background in software engineering with proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale production systems.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Ability to drive technical decisions in complex, fast-moving environments.
