In this role, you will contribute to the design, architecture, and delivery of robust web and mobile applications that prioritize performance, usability, security, and accessibility. The position combines hands-on development with technical leadership, allowing you to influence engineering standards, drive modernization efforts, and champion best practices across the software lifecycle. Accountabilities:

    • Lead the design and development of scalable front-end and back-end web applications and digital platforms.
    • Provide strategic technical direction aligned with enterprise goals related to security, privacy, performance, maintainability, and user experience.
    • Collaborate with product managers, UX teams, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
    • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, architecture, development, testing, automation, deployment, and production support.
    • Develop functional prototypes from wireframes and mockups while maintaining high standards for documentation and code quality.
    • Implement responsive, cross-platform web experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
    • Troubleshoot performance issues, user interaction challenges, and front-end optimization concerns.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concept initiatives, and support vendor assessments when needed.
    • Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and scalable UI architectures.
    • Mentor technical teams and share expertise on modern web technologies, usability patterns, and software engineering trends.

    Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field.
      • Master’s degree preferred.
      • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong expertise in web application development.
      • Advanced knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ECMAScript, AJAX, JSON, and semantic markup.
      • Strong experience with modern UI frameworks and tools such as AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, LessCSS, or SASS.
      • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, interaction patterns, and responsive web development.
      • Expertise in web architecture, APIs, algorithms, data structures, browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
      • Proven ability to build and deploy production-quality software for large-scale consumer audiences.
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
      • Ability to influence technical decisions, advocate for best practices, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
      • Experience developing applications across multiple platforms and devices, including mobile and tablet interfaces.
