We are seeking a commercially sharp Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of accounts in East China, driving revenue growth and retention, and expanding market share. This role focuses on maximising customer satisfaction while aligning account strategies with LSEG’s strategic objectives. The AM will develop and leading execute account plan and account strategy, coordinate account activities to ensure provide strong, consistent service levels, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver compelling value propositions that delivering profitable growth and outstanding customer value.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build trusted advisory relationships especially with key decision-makers by understanding their strategies, priorities, and challenges, decision‑making landscape (exec sponsors and influencers). becoming the primary, trusted point of contact.
  • Develop and maintain account plans aligned to client priorities, driving multi‑year growth and expansion.
  • Maintain solid understanding of LSEG propositions to initiate conversations and generate interest. Drive growth by rapidly growing LSEG footprint and identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Coordinate all sales activities for each account from discovery through close and implementation.
  • Ensure high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction, with a focus on retaining and growing managed net revenue. Align internal resources to lead on opportunities and implementation, removing roadblocks and accelerating value realization.
  • Lead the commercial and renewal execution through pipeline and deal management.
  • Drive efficiency in account administration


Skill and Experience Required

  • Native-level proficiency in Mandarin; business-level English is essential. Both verbal and written.
  • Proven relationship-building capabilities. Proactive customer outreach and executive engagement, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Influencing skills at senior level, able to build decisions and create consensus for action.
  • Strong business acumen across negotiation, pricing, contracting and renewals (identity, develop and articulate a sophisticated proposition/consultative selling)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a structured and client-centric approach.
  • Solid grasp of customer business models, workflows, and industry dynamics and how industry shifts translate to account strategies and propositions. Strong capability to develop and implement and present account plan
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Collaboration and partnership within account teams and across functions.
  • Sophisticated stakeholder management, both client‑side and internally.
