Software Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and automation engineers responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and validating automation solutions for Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes-based environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, DevOps, cloud-native platforms, telecom platforms, or infrastructure engineering. 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams, technical teams, or complex cross-functional engineering initiatives. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. Strong programming and scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages. Experience designing, developing, or managing automation frameworks for deployment, validation, certification, or lifecycle management. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure automation. Experience with Oracle 5G Network Functions, Oracle 5G software deployment, or telecom network function automation. Experience with Oracle 5G ATS or similar test automation and certification frameworks. Hands-on experience with F5 Aspen Service Mesh, F5 Service Proxy for Kubernetes, F5 ASM, or similar service mesh, proxy, networking, or security platforms. Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerized workloads, and platform integration. Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes networking, ingress, DNS, certificates, storage, operators, and cluster lifecycle management. Experience troubleshooting complex deployment, automation, platform, networking, or application issues in Kubernetes-based environments. Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage priorities, delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and engineering execution across multiple workstreams.
