We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and automation engineers responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and validating automation solutions for Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes-based environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, DevOps, cloud-native platforms, telecom platforms, or infrastructure engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams, technical teams, or complex cross-functional engineering initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Strong programming and scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience designing, developing, or managing automation frameworks for deployment, validation, certification, or lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with Oracle 5G Network Functions, Oracle 5G software deployment, or telecom network function automation.
  • Experience with Oracle 5G ATS or similar test automation and certification frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with F5 Aspen Service Mesh, F5 Service Proxy for Kubernetes, F5 ASM, or similar service mesh, proxy, networking, or security platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerized workloads, and platform integration.
  • Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes networking, ingress, DNS, certificates, storage, operators, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex deployment, automation, platform, networking, or application issues in Kubernetes-based environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, delivery timelines, risks, dependencies, and engineering execution across multiple workstreams.
