Senior Account Manager

Full Time Position - Auburn Hills, Michigan


Firefly is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships from first contact through project execution. In this role, you’ll be both the initial point of contact for new inquiries and the ongoing partner for existing clients—guiding them through every stage of their Firefly experience. This is not a traditional sales position; instead, it’s about educating, advising, and building long-term trust. You’ll ensure clients feel supported from concept to show day, while also helping identify opportunities that align with Firefly’s continued growth and innovation.

You’ll engage directly with potential customers, partners, and collaborators to help them understand what makes Firefly’s technology and performances unique. From initial conversations to proposal development and project coordination, you’ll own the full client journey. You’ll collaborate with leadership, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless communication, deliver world-class experiences, and identify new opportunities to expand Firefly’s reach. At the same time, you’ll contribute to strategic planning—helping shape the direction of Firefly’s future business development and market presence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for new and existing clients from first inquiry through project completion.
  • Educate prospective clients on Firefly’s capabilities, process, and value to guide them toward the right solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships that foster long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, quotes, and project scopes.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth handoffs between sales, production, and operations.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and through new strategic relationships.
  • Represent Firefly at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build visibility and connections.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client relations, or business development (ideally in tech, entertainment, or live events).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative and customer-first approach.
  • Proven ability to manage clients through the full lifecycle—from introduction to project delivery.
  • Strategic thinker capable of identifying growth opportunities and helping shape long-term plans.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and show support.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience in live events, entertainment production, or technology-based services.
  • Understanding of UAS (drone) technology or creative production workflows.
  • Prior involvement in strategic partnerships or organizational growth planning.
