BCore is seeking a Software Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer’s mission by helping to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Comfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applications
- Experience in modernization of legacy applications
- Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services
- Experience creating RESTful API
- Experience with spring boot
- Develop Java and Angular (Typescript) that leverage Elasticsearch
- Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodology
- Strong communication, design, and documentation skills
- Strong time and workflow management skills
- Comfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute.
- Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Willingness to mentor and teach junior developers’ community best practices in a constructive fashion
- Ability to methodically think through new and exciting challenges in a collaborative team environment in order to provide technically sound solutions
- BS degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Must have experience with Java, spring boot, Angular (Typescript), and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services
- Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements and specifications
- Prior experience developing custom ETL
- Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, selenium, and Rundeck
- Understanding and knowledge with Identity and Accessibility development practices
- Experience with automation methodologies like selenium
- Experience with containerization and modular development
- Familiarity with UI/UX Design
- Full Stack Development
- Certification - Amazon Web Services (AWS)
