This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality engineering leader to oversee validation and verification activities within a highly regulated and technology-driven environment.
You will lead global software quality engineering teams responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and performance of critical software solutions used in clinical and research operations.
The role combines hands-on testing expertise with people leadership, process optimization, and strategic quality management across multiple projects and distributed teams.
You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and business stakeholders to improve testing methodologies, strengthen quality standards, and support successful product delivery.
The position also offers strong exposure to Agile development environments, automation frameworks, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of Software Quality Engineering teams across onsite and offshore locations.
- Oversee testing activities across multiple projects, including resource planning, workload distribution, and performance monitoring.
- Review project requirements and technical documentation to ensure completeness, quality, and testability.
- Define and implement test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing activities.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and testing documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development and implementation teams to validate software releases and determine appropriate testing coverage.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to QA methodologies, testing frameworks, automation strategies, and operational processes.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality.
- Monitor testing KPIs related to productivity, quality, and project timelines while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including GCP requirements.
- Contribute to departmental strategy, vendor management, and evaluation of new testing technologies and tools.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment focused on professional development and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or validation and verification roles.
- At least 2 years of experience leading QA teams or managing software testing projects.
- Advanced understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong expertise in software testing methodologies, defect management, and test case design.
- Experience implementing and managing test automation frameworks and automation strategies.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices within regulated environments such as healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research is preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards, including Good Clinical Practices (GCP), is advantageous.
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst or Test Manager certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
