In this role, you will help shape and build next-generation mobile experiences for connected digital products in the automotive space, contributing to applications that directly impact how customers interact with innovative vehicles and services. You will play a key role in designing scalable iOS architectures, building high-performance applications, and ensuring a seamless user experience from concept to release. Working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering. The role offers strong ownership, with the opportunity to influence technical direction from the ground up. You will also help elevate engineering standards through mentorship, code reviews, and shared best practices. This is a highly impactful position focused on both innovation and execution at scale.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that support connected digital products in a modern mobility ecosystem. You will define and evolve mobile architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across releases.

• Design, build, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Lead mobile architecture decisions and ensure scalable, high-performance solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product experiences
• Implement best practices for mobile engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
• Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies and advocate for improvements

Requirements:

You bring strong experience in iOS development and a track record of delivering customer-facing mobile applications in dynamic environments. You are comfortable working in fast-paced settings where autonomy, collaboration, and technical depth are essential.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on iOS applications
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and UI/UX principles
• Experience with GraphQL, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile release workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in startup or 0-to-1 product environments is highly valued
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Preferred: experience in automotive, IoT, testing frameworks, or automation

• Competitive base salary: $140,000 – $170,000 (up to $187,000 in California) plus performance bonus
