This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for elevating a high-performing Sales Development (SDR/BDR) function within a fast-scaling global SaaS environment. You will own the end-to-end SDR strategy, combining hands-on coaching with strategic ownership of pipeline generation and outbound expansion. The role is central to driving revenue growth through improved lead qualification, conversion efficiency, and multi-channel prospecting excellence. Working closely with senior sales leadership, you will strengthen existing inbound performance while building a scalable outbound motion. This is both a strategic and operational role, requiring strong execution discipline and the ability to directly influence frontline sales performance. You will also play a key role in shaping team structure, processes, and AI-enabled sales productivity.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and evolve the SDR function end-to-end, including strategy, playbooks, qualification frameworks, routing processes, SLAs, and performance metrics, ensuring consistent pipeline generation and revenue impact.
- Build and scale outbound sales capabilities, including multi-channel prospecting strategies (email, calls, LinkedIn, messaging platforms) and structured cadence systems to complement inbound performance.
- Drive team performance through hands-on coaching, pipeline reviews, call analysis, live deal support, and continuous skills development across SDRs and Team Leaders.
- Own operational excellence including funnel analytics, forecasting, capacity planning, activity tracking, and real-time reporting using CRM and BI tools.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue Operations to improve lead quality, conversion rates, ICP alignment, and handoff processes.
- Implement AI-driven sales enablement solutions, including automation, lead enrichment, personalization workflows, and productivity enhancements.
- Define career development pathways and structured training programs to improve SDR progression, retention, and overall team capability.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Development or B2B sales, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role managing and scaling SDR/BDR teams.
- Proven ability to coach sales talent effectively, diagnose performance gaps, and improve conversion and pipeline outcomes.
- Strong experience designing and executing outbound sales motions in addition to managing inbound lead environments.
- Advanced CRM expertise (e.g., HubSpot or similar), including workflow design, pipeline management, and reporting automation.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using dashboards, funnel metrics, and performance data to drive decisions.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation in sales environments, including generative AI and productivity systems.
- Experience managing distributed or global teams across time zones with strong operational discipline.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced environments.
