This is a high-impact leadership role focused on shaping and scaling AI platform and cloud engineering capabilities across global teams. You will guide a distributed group of engineers responsible for building secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure powering next-generation AI/ML systems. The role blends technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership across CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native platforms. You will collaborate closely with architecture and AI/ML leaders to define engineering standards and long-term platform strategy. Success in this role directly influences the reliability, performance, and evolution of enterprise-grade AI services used at scale.

Accountabilities:

• Lead and mentor a distributed cloud and AI platform engineering team, fostering strong execution, collaboration, and continuous growth
• Own sprint planning, delivery cadence, reporting, and execution quality across multiple technical workstreams
• Drive architecture discussions, enforce engineering standards, and ensure high-quality code and system design practices
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders to define the roadmap for AI platform infrastructure and DevOps evolution
• Manage cross-team dependencies, remove delivery blockers, and ensure smooth execution across global (US–India) teams
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud infrastructure reliability for AI/ML systems
• Contribute to hiring, team development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing engineering organization

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years in engineering management roles
• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade cloud or AI/ML platforms in SaaS environments
• Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, particularly on Amazon Web Services
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Exposure to AI/ML platform technologies including LLM deployment, embeddings, RAG, and agentic workflows
• Familiarity with platforms such as OpenAI and AWS AI services including SageMaker and Bedrock
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across distributed global teams
• Ability to balance technical depth with strategic execution and team leadership
